It’s officially cocktail season, y’all! Not that we don’t partake in cocktails year-round, but there’s something especially delightful about sipping on an ice-cold, fruity drink on a hot Summer day! We’ve put together a few of our favorite Summer cocktail recipes that you can make easily at home!

Tequila Mule

This is similar to the traditional mule, but using tequila instead of vodka. It changes the taste a bit and it’s delicious! Don’t forget your copper mug!

  • 2 oz tequila
  • .5 oz lime juice
  • 4 oz ginger beer
  • 3-4 mint leaves

Vodka Lemonade w/ Mint

I made this totally on a whim one night! We were out of all our typical mixers, but there was some lemonade and vodka left so I just combined the two. It was good but something was missing. I ran outside to grab some mint leaves, muddled them up in the glass, and it seriously made all the difference! Super refreshing!

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 4-5 oz lemonade (depending on how sweet you want it!)
  • 4 mint leaves

Blackberry Mojito

Can’t go wrong with a mojito! It involves a few more ingredients and a little extra effort (we’ve included specific directions for this one), but you won’t be sorry! You can use any type of berry, but blackberry is my personal fave!

  • 2 oz light rum
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 4-5 blackberries
  • .5 oz lime juice
  • 4 oz club soda

  1. Combine simple syrup, mint leaves, blackberries, and a splash of club soda into a glass and muddle well
  2. Add lime juice and rum, then stir well
  3. Fill the glass with ice and then top with club soda

So put on your hostess hat and try these recipes out with a group, and let us know which one is your fave! Cheers!
