Thursday, August 20th, I held my VERY first workshop. To say I was nervous would be an understatement. A lot of factors were stressing me out the day of. Oh gosh, what if they don’t learn anything?, what if no one talks to each other?, what if they don’t want to eat the donuts?, what if they hate me?… etc. I think holding a workshop or retreat is just going to be scary every time you do it. There are so many things that go into it, and honestly you just want everyone to enjoy themselves and feel like they got something out of it! And I can proudly say that I think everyone did feel that way after the workshop! (phew) We had a great night of cocktails, snacks, conversation, encouragement, and learning!
I gave a little introduction into Chalkfulloflove, my methods and tools, the lowercase alphabet, connecting letters, and created a final project. Each attendee got to take home a pretty stellar swag bag thanks to all my amazing sponsors. You can see a final list and website at the bottom of this post! A huge thank you to Steph (@steph_hinrichs) for all of her help in the set up. All of the beautiful photographs are by Angie L Photography. She made some strange shadowy lighting look great.
A BIG thank you to all of our sponsors!
